with SAFe® Practitioner Certification
Summary
Build the skills needed to become a high-performing team member of an Agile Release Train (ART)—and learn how to collaborate effectively with other teams—by becoming a SAFe® Practitioner (SP).
During this two-day course, you will gain an in-depth understanding of the ART, how it delivers value, and what you can do to effectively perform the role using Scrum, Kanban, and Extreme Programming (XP). You will also learn how to write stories and break down features, plan and execute iterations, and plan Program Increments. Finally, you’ll learn about the continuous delivery pipeline and DevOps culture, how to effectively integrate with other teams in the program, and what it takes to continuously improve the train.

- Apply SAFe to scale Lean and Agile development in their enterprise
- Know their team and its role on the Agile Release Train

Annual Renewal
Certifications expire one year from the date the certification is earned.

Prerequisites
All are welcome to attend the course, regardless of experience. However, the following prerequisites are highly recommended for those who intend to take the SAFe® Practitioner (SP) certification exam:
- Familiarity with Agile concepts and principle
- Awareness of Scrum, Kanban, and XP
- Working knowledge of software and hardware development processes
Refund/Cancellation Policy
Refunds/Cancellations are allowed up to 30 days prior to the event less a $200 processing charge. No-shows or same day cancellations are non-refundable. Any class is subject to cancellation by Bush Agility due to low enrollment for a class on a particular date. Bush Agility will transfer you to the next upcoming class. Bush Agility is not responsible for any reimbursement due to the cancellation beyond refunding the cost of the course itself.
PDU/SEU
Professional Development Units (PDUs) and Scrum Education Units (SEUs)
Attendees may be eligible to apply for 15 PDUs toward their continuing education requirements with the Project Management Institute (PMI) for PMP, PgMP, and PMI-ACP certifications
Attendees may be eligible to apply for SEUs under category C, toward earning or renewing their CSP through Scrum Alliance

What about provisions for Covid-19?
As of March 2020, all of Bush Agility’s courses are delivered live, on-line, to students using video conferencing technology like Zoom. Our student feedback on our virtual format has been stellar, surpassing expectations!
As always, the quality and learning experience of our courses remain of the utmost importance to us. Our instructors have diligently created an engaging and fun-virtual experience that will allow students to master SAFe® from the comfort of their home.
What tools are utilized during the remote sessions?
We utilize a combination of Zoom, Google Drive, and on-line apps for group activities to apply our knowledge to ensure that key-important concepts are touched upon.
Does the enrollment fee include the exam fee?
Yes. The enrollment fee includes the right to take the exam within 30 days after the class is completed. The exam fee also includes a digital copy of the student manual that contains all course materials covered during the course.
When can I take the exam?
A student can take the exam anytime after formally completing the course, but we strongly encourage students to take the exam after several days of reviewing the class material that we have covered during the course to ensure the utmost best performance. Our students have consistently performed well, our student passage rate is 95%.

Do we offer a group discount?
Yes, group discounts are offered. What type of credit card do we accept?
We accept: Discover, Master Card, & Visa.
Do I have to be in the same city to take a remote course?
No, anyone is welcome to enroll in our live-remote training courses. The courses themselves can be taken by anyone that has a good-reliable internet connection.
How do I access information for my online course?
Zoom Login information and materials for the online course will be made available two business days prior to course taking place. This information will be sent to all participants via email from the Client Support Team (contact@bushagility.com ).
What do I need to prepare and participate in the online course?
To participate in the course, participants will simply need:
- A quiet, comfortable place to attend the course
- An area without distractions
- Be mindful of managing potential interruptions (e.g. children, pets, etc).
- A Computer (i.e. desktop or laptop)
- Camera and microphone (we will have virtual team breakout rooms for our group activities)
- Headset to filter out any room noise
- A good-reliable Internet connection
Will I get a certificate?
Yes, once you complete the course and pass the certification exam of the course, you will be provided and given access to a digital certificate on the SAFe® Community Platform that you can then thereafter print to show-case that you are now a newly-minted SAFe® certified professional!
Where can I take the exam?
The exam can be taken online-virtually from the comfort of your home using a safe-reliable internet connection once you have formally completed the course.
